Foundations

Foundations is a four-week experience designed as a starting point or opportunity for you to be more deeply engaged at St. Matthew and explore becoming a member as God leads you.

1: Meet St. Matthew

Discover who we are and what we are all about. Meet St. Matthew is an opportunity to meet Pastor Brad, hear his story, the story of St. Matthew and consider your story, and if God might be adding you to the family of Faith here at St. Matthew. We really believe that God is doing great stuff here at St. Matthew and we would love you to be a part of it.

Session 1: April 28

2: Share Life

Word and Sacrament God’s gifts to us. In this class we dive into how we are given new life by the Spirit of God through His word. He comes to speak words of love, grace and life to us that the broken places in us can be restored. At St. Matthew, we Celebrate the gift of Jesus grace through Worship.

Session 2: May 5

3: Create Friendships

How God transforms us in relationships. In this class, we talk about the importance of relationships. We believe that God uses the people that he places in our lives to help us grow and become the people that he has made us to be. So here, at St. Matthew we are intentional about growing in Christ through His Word in authentic relationships. In this class we will talk about how we do it at St. Matthew.

Session 3: June 2

4: Inspire Hope & Service

How we can be part of what God is doing. In this class, we talk about how we were made for more. We were made to make a difference. In this class we will talk about how we can make a difference here and now and even for eternity as we share Jesus love in the places He has planted us. We also talk about where you can serve and be part of what we are doing.
